Shane academy is proud to announce this course designed to provide medical professionals from a variety of backgrounds with a refresher and update on the most critical aspect of their daily practice - medical and surgical emergencies and their imaging. It consists of 12 modules held between the 14th and 20th of August 2022 in Lisbon's historic Portuguese capital city and the coastal city of Albufeira within the picturesque Algarve region of Portugal followed by a 1-day optional post-workshop assessment module on the 21st of August.
Highly experienced international faculty from the UK, Australia and the Middle East will be conducting the workshop. Each module will be composed of short didactic lectures by specialists in the respective field immediately followed by a hands-on interactive workshop where the delegates will be given the opportunity to review imaging studies including X Rays, Ultrasound, CT and MRI scans relevant to the topic. Our aim is to provide the delegates with the knowledge and skill to handle a variety of medical and surgical emergencies confidently and appropriately order and interpret relevant radiological investigations.
An optional post-workshop assessment module will be conducted on the evening of 21st August. This will be composed of multiple timed practice tests to assess your newly learned skills. Individual scores and detailed answers will be provided to the delegates' email addresses.
Laptop: We recommend all delegates bring their own laptop device. All of the content including the imaging studies will be compatible with Windows and Macbook devices and will be provided in advance for downloading to their own devices.
